FLOWCast UNIT 10: Display and View Controls

The Display and View Controls are on the right side of the FLOWCast Toolbar. These controls give you great flexibility in what data is displayed and how the data is viewed during a simulation.


Display Control

The Display Control allows you to switch between nine different types of data, as follows:




The default data displayed is Temperature. Examples of each of these data types are shown in the following figures.

Pressure Display

View Control

The View Control allows you to change the angle from which the model is viewed during a simulation. You can view the model in the positive or negative X, Y or Z directions, plus nine rotated isometric views. The V3 view is the default view. After a simulation is run, you can change the view and then create a new AVI movie of the data from a different angle. The view can be changed at any time, even while a simulation is running.
